    Hi,

I inherited this Zenith from my Grandfather but have never had it identified. Could anyone enlighten me on its origins / model number please? The back is plain and the strap has been replaced.

    Many thanks,

    Peter

    Peter,

It's not possible to give you a lot of information with a featureless case and dial which I think has been repainted. If you could get it opened and photograph the movement and the inside of the caseback which will probably have a case number, we could at least give an idea of the date of it.

Back in the day, watches were not nearly as well documented as they are now - they were produced in multiple variations and did not necessarily have individual model numbers. Many were relatively anonymous three handers like this one. The company product literature was also much more sparse. Don't expect a precise model number and reference.
