    In London over Christmas, already had a look in Burlington Arcade, but surprisingly few nice vintage omegas and all wildly overpriced.

    Any other recommendations for places to visit?

    You could also try Grays Antiques market at 58 Davies St, London W1K 5AB (just south of Bond St tube) or the traders at Portobello Road on sat morning. Also convent garden market on monday mornings has a dozen watch sellers (need to know your stuff here though before you buy)

    Or of course, head for Clerkenwell ( antique watch co)

    But you will pay top dollar if you buy from burlington arcade, as you have found already ( and some there are not completely in original vintage condition, if you get my meaning)
