This is an extremely rare, vintage 1967 Omega watch that commemorated the 1967 Orange Bowl in which Florida beat Georgia Tech 27-12 on the back of Heisman Trophy winner and current South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier. These watches were given to the players and/or coaches. Omega also made these watches for the 1966 Orange Bowl as you can see linked here: Click Here. This 1966 model sold for $699. Rolex also got into the game and made watches for the 1969 Cotton Bowl.

It's a very cool, classic vintage watch that looks a lot like the Seamasters of that era. It reads " ORANGE BOWL CLASSIC 1967" across the bottom of the face. The case is Gold-Capped Solid Stainless Steel. The back of the case reads "10KGOLD FILLED". Dial and crown signed Omega. Swiss Made. 32mm Diameter Excluding Crown x 38 Top to Bottom. 18mm Lug Spacing. The band is a new dark brown, crushed leather. I have not opened it up to determine the exact movement.

It keeps great time and appears to be in great mechanical condition. The crystal could definitely stand to be polished and/or replaced. It has scratches throughout with a small crack directly over the 3-hour mark and a larger crack over the 6 and 7 hour mark.

The purchase price includes FREE priority shipping with insurance. Please email me with any questions . $(KGrHqR,!pIFHyDeSeyrBR9Wjy2EW!~~60_57.JPG $T2eC16J,!ygE9s7HHn18BR9V+Vqf9!~~60_57.JPG $(KGrHqR,!ogFHwEiU0SrBR9V+WVP5!~~60_57.JPG
