I've started looking for a Weems. I would like to find one from pre-war to the end on WW II. Any suggestions on what to look for (hard to find parts if missing)? A good place to start looking? And what one would expect to pay?

If you have one, I would love to see it.

Which Weems are you looking for? 47mm, 33mm or 28mm? Military issued (i've a handful of these, 33mm, Longines, Lecoultre, Zenith that trade 2-3k US)
Longines Weems and Lindbergh - QP Magazine

If you're in search of the grandaddy, hour angle variety, take a look at one that just came up on MWR. It's a stunner.

That is a beautiful Hour Angle.

If you look below you'll see mine cased in the U.S. by Whittnaur from 1938. The Weems I'm looking for is a Longines from this era. I believe it would around the 33mm size.

Larry, I would love to see your Weems...!!!!

I don't know any more connect to the vintage watch scene as James Dowling. He help me a few years back with a 5510 I had.
