Looks like a very nice old JLC. Dial looks original to me, movement seems right. Radium looks to be intact. You need to be careful with the case. Some of these have chrome plated cases that can be damaged easily. Then they start rusting. Price is more than fair. Wear in good health, gatorcpa
I found this similar model and the movement is slightly different (next to the serial number is not written swiss as it is at my one), the moving wheel with the spring (in german its "Unruh") looks a bit different, the ebay one has 4 insteat of 5 stones at the front (at the ebay one is the 5th one replaced with a screw) and the movement covers are different: http://www.google.de/imgres?imgurl=http://www.farfo.com/images/jaegermilitary.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.farfo.com/sold/jaegermilitary/jaegermilitary.html&h=400&w=300&tbnid=IrhkzVNUg5eXtM:&zoom=1&docid=2rjqjPU-Vj6SNM&ei=aVuCU5Bp0vXhBLzjgNgC&tbm=isch&client=safari&iact=rc&uact=3&dur=556&page=1&start=0&ndsp=19&ved=0CFkQrQMwAQ
here I found another one that looks like mine, which was sold for 2200$! http://www.google.de/imgres?imgurl=http://www.kalmarantiques.com.au/resources/1/jaeger-lecoultre-watch-es33.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.kalmarantiques.com.au/1940-jaeger-lecoultre-469-a-es3373.aspx&h=1400&w=1400&tbnid=unxuh_mRzGTgDM:&zoom=1&docid=epPa3CnE0TpZsM&ei=aVuCU5Bp0vXhBLzjgNgC&tbm=isch&client=safari&iact=rc&uact=3&dur=621&page=2&start=19&ndsp=28&ved=0CKMBEK0DMBg The movement of this watch looks exactly as the movement of mine, but "swiss" isn't written on this one too. The dial looks a bit different because the minute and second scale is on the outside while mine is on the inside of the dial.
When you scroll down the first four watches you will see a model with exactly the same dial as I have. Now I am pretty shore that this is an original one and that the price is probably way to low! http://metallo-nobile.net/metallo_de/Alt/Uhren/Jaeger_Le_Coultre/jaeger.htm
In my opinion, all three of the watches are all original. Yours has "Swiss" on the dial and on the movement. This is normal for these watches. I have seen many JLC dials with similar markings to all the watches you've shown here. It is not unusual for there to be running changes in movements or cases. Also, these may not all be exactly the same watch. I think you need to continue your research further into this style of watch. Hope this helps gatorcpa
Thank you gatorcpa! I compared it with other watches of this kind and I am pretty shore that it is a real one. I am pretty happy because mostly you pay about 1000$ for such a watch and I payed only 470$. Probably that was a really good deal.
Yes. It was an excellent deal. That last seller's watches were almost all recent redials. Excellent work, possibly even done by JLC contractors, but still redials. I really like yours, because there is nothing but good, honest wear on that watch. It is extremely difficult to fake that kind of patina. As I said on your other post, sometimes you just need to be patient and ask questions. Preferably before you win an auction. However, this time you were very lucky to get such a nice watch at a low price. This can happen on Sundays, as the professional buyers on eBay need a day off too! Enjoy, gatorcpa
You've done well on this one, both in terms of condition and price. Do take care not to polish a chrome case!
Thank you woodwkr2! I won't . @ LouS: I think it´s OK not to pay when somebody is cheating on me by saying it`s an original product while it is not.
