This dial usually comes in the TV/cushion case. Haven't seen one in this case before. Interesting.

 

Certainly uncommon, but not necessarily attractive design. I for one do not think square inside round case is a good design fit

 

I'd agree with Herianto - it has a 70's vibe, but not in a good sort of way (visually speaking)

 

There is a square in a circle, all it is missing is a big triangle.
