Gentlemen, I present the newest addition to my small but growing UG collection: Comments (good or bad) always appreciated!
You're on a roll. These pictures are kind of hard to work with you and haven't given us a case back / reference number shot... but here goes: The dial looks clean and original. Hour and minute hands are poor replacements. These are "stick" hands rather than Universal's lovely "leaf" hands. The subdial hands look correct. You've only given me the profile of the crown to work with, but it may be original. Case profile looks nice. This one hasn't been over polished. I'll go out on a limb and guess the reference is a 21301 and that it's about 33mm without the crown?
Of note, make sure that you don't adjust the calendar pushers between 12 midnight and 3am. That's when the automatic mechanism is actuated, and could result in damage. Same holds for the more complicated pieces.
Hi dsio & woodwkr2. Thanks for the comments! Woodwkr2 - you're right on the mark - ref# 21301 is exactly it. 32.5mm by my measurement. Any idea where I can find some of those leaf type hands?
Genuine Universal hands, particularly the leaf style, seem to be made of unobtanium. If you ever find any, please point me in the right direction after you get your pair.
