I think it's a fair restoration so far given the limitations. (Brit speak for pretty good). the photos show the painted hands bright white, which may be the photos. They look too new for the rest of the watch, while the lume restoration on the hands and plots is very nice. as to replacement dials, I am curious what people think a dial is worth? i think it would be many thousands of dollars, even in sad condition. I am not a buyer, but I wouldn't sell mine either. Good luck searching though.
I think it looks good! I might tone down the subdial hand brightness a bit, but that could just be the photo. Bottom line... Glad to see it being brought back to wearable condition, and being worn, not stuck in a box somewhere. Enjoy it - a real classic.
If one day you drop over the correct 2915-3 dial, everything is perfect. But even now a really beautiful solution for a daily wearer
