Hello to all Omega lovers. I was a visitor of this forum for a long time. Finally, I decided to join this group of Omega lovers and to share my thoughts and photos about Omega watches (and not only). In my childhood I did a lot of swimming lessons. Back in 80's Romania was behind communist Iron Curtain and you could find only Russian or Chinese watches. I dreamed of a water proof watch to be able to measure my lap times in swimming pool. I really tried to seal with superglue buttons of electronic watches (Chinese, 4 pushers, alarm, chronograph, 8 melodies). Finally all drowned. When I was old enough, smart enough (I hope) and with some money, I went back to my childhood dreams. Why Omega ??? because a lot of reasons: - James Bond (I first saw Pierce Brosnan movies) is tough man, is well dressed, drivers wonderful cars, all chicks love him ... and he has OMEGA on his wrist - Watches are well made, have passed rigorous testing and some of them traveled all the way to the moon and back. - I found in a box untouched for at least 50 years, a watch that belonged to my grand-grandfather. It is part of part of my family heritage. According to the series engraved on the movement, was produced in the period 1906-1911. After a careful cleaning and a complete overhaul, it works perfectly. It seems that Omega is part of my family for at least 100 years. Enough with talking. Lets share some pictures: - Omega Seamaster Professional 2221.80.00 - Omega DeVille SS&18k 7210.11.00 - Omega Silver Pocket Watch
