Man that is a beauty for sure. I thought about pulling the trigger on that one. Had it been slightly larger diameter, I might have. The styling on that one is just outstanding.

Hey now, watch it! (pun intended)

It's the Malte Grande Classique caliber 1400.

Baco, it wears well. Doesn’t look small on the wrist. Maybe a little larger than an Omega Connie from the 50-60’s.

Congrats! A fantastic example of what a dress watch can be when done right by one of the all-time greatest watch producers. Truly beautiful.

I'm sure it will take several weeks to get that "s..t-eating grin" off your face ;-) Why not; enjoy it! As always, wear in good health, Miki

Thanks to all of you kind collectors for your kind words!

Yes, Miki! I am wearing another watch today, and am cheating on the relationship with the present watch, becasue I can’t get my mind off of the VC dial and I keep on grinning! :p Present watch is not happy with me! :whipped:

Do you think the fact that it was Dennis’s watch adds a little value? :D

Cal. 1400 for sure. This highly regarded newer in-house movement put VC back in the race with the new "Big 3". The original "Big 3" was Patek, Vacheron and and Audemars. However, IMHO, Lange has now replaced Audemars. Hell, take-away their ROOS and there goes their popularity ;-(
