Old pics of my A-serial GMT-Master ref. 16700. The last serial range of the last GMT-Master model Rolex made. After the 16700 was discontinued, only the GMT-Master II model would remain in the catalog starting with ref. 16760, 16710, and finally the current 116710 LN and 116710 BLNR. Different Shirt, Same Watch...
I was in North Wildwood NJ this past summer and noticed the owner of a hot dog joint wearing a vintage GMT Pepsi. I love seeing folks wearing those watches. I really like the new black and blue model as well. One day maybe....
Here's the scarce "Radial dial" (mini plot) 1675 I bought from Eric Ku and a 16750 I bought from Jacek

Been eyeballing this for some time now but a lot of folks are saying that about the BLNR. As such, I'm rethinking a GMT II Coke instead...
well I'm pragmatic. The double zone function is fun but if I'm honest with myself, if I want to know what time it is back home or in a 3rd zone, I'm gonna use my phone. I bet that 95% of GMT IIs are not set correctly for GMT, and half of them are showing the wrong date too
nice... very nice! Maybe Rolex will release the black and red ceramic again? I believe red / orange ceramic are hard to manufacture....
