We have a gang of Superb Fairy-wrens using our bird bath.

I was lucky enough to catch this little lady after her bath.

 

Good catch - so much brighter than our species

 

Great photo, Jim. If you can catch the male there on the birdbath would be excellent too.

 

The male has lost his mating colours at the moment and doesn't look much different to the female, just a bluer tail.

Id prefer other types of females getting out of the bath

 

I tried photographing one doing that once.

I find it much less painful to stick to birdlife (the feathered kind that is)
