    I have this 3523.30

It will be going in to be serviced soon and I was thinking of having the bezel changed to tone down all that silver. I see Black and maybe Red bezels on Flebay for about $55. I would keep the original safe of course. Anyone advise for or against?

Also, changing this is not like changing a Speedy Pro bezel. The bezel on this watch is also the entire front portion of the watch case, so it contains the crystal as well. To change this, you would have to:

1 - Remove the bezel from the watch
2 - Press the crystal out of the bezel
3 - Have a new bezel, crystal gasket, and crystal press on hand
4 - Install the crystal in the new bezel
5 - Press the whole assembly on the case, making sure the tachymetre scale lines up with the dial properly, which I can assure you is not easy as I've done it many times.

It's not really a DYI job in my view.

    Cheers, Al

I had no plan to do it myself, but also had no idea how much would be involved!
    New Plan...........leave it alone. :)
    Thanks.
