........whilst relaxing at home in front of the TV in the evenings?

Apparently it makes me look 'unrelaxed' and as if I'm waiting to go out.....

Isn't it the norm, or should I seek help...........for my wife?::screwloose::

    Seems perfectly normal to me!

My watch is the last thing I take off when I go to bed at night, if I even do that! In fact, when I was going through my Tritium tubes diver phase, I ALWAYS wore a watch to bed!

    But, I don't have a wife...so I'm rarely subject to 'watch criticism...

You may wish to consider a trade in for relaxed indoor model.

Skip the model. Don't get me wrong, cute and perky is fine, but you do want one that will go the distance, otherwise there are expensive maintenance issues.

Least anyone get the wrong idea; I have a whole advice lecture for younger guys on what to look for in a life long mate, how to spot poor choices and good choices, signs to look for, issues etc.
My lecture material always start with this.

I'm looking for a hard headed woman,
One who will take me for myself,
And if I find my hard headed woman,
I will need nobody else, no, no.

I'm looking for a hard headed woman,
One who will make me do my best,
And if I find my hard headed woman
I know the rest of my life will be blessed -- yes, yes, yes.

I know a lot of fancy dancers,
people who can glide you on a floor,
They move so smooth but have no answers.
When you ask "Why'd you come here for?"
    "I don't know" "Why?"

I know many fine feathered friends
but their friendliness depends on how you do.
They know many sure fired ways
to find out the one who pays
    and how you do.

I'm looking for a hard headed woman,
One who will make me feel so good,
And if I find my hard headed woman,
I know my life will be as it should -- yes, yes, yes.

I'm looking for a hard headed woman,
One who will make me do my best,
And if I find my hard headed woman...

I have a friend who wears his watch virtually all the time and, as far as I know, he's happily married for +10 years now. But, at the end of the day, I suspect his wife is encouraging this behavior because he gets grumpy without a watch on his wrist :)

Oi!.......yes us younger guys need a little advice from shall we say you 'more mature' forum members in matters of the heart.

How did we get onto this, I only asked about wearing a watch in your silk smoking jacket and cravat, anyway my wife knows who wears the trousers in our relationship........must go, I'm late doing the washing up tonight...
