I've got a few fancy pens - Mont Blancs and a Visconti fountain pen that's quite nice, but I use this one daily that my brother in law made me a few years ago. It has coffee beans in the body of the pen... You can actually smell the coffee too. Cheers, Al
Classic black! Caliber 283 and a Dunhill...... caught myself daydreaming through a meeting yesterday while staring at this pair. (Yeah the pictures crap..... sorry)
Isn't it amazing how car dealerships find ways of parting you with your money even while they keep you waiting? One pen to go with the previous two cars and one for the current one.
USN Elgin underwater demolition team watch from WW2 & Caran D'ache pen with chainmail body..... rugged stuff. makes one feel all manly like..... and then I go and ride a yellow Vespa to work.... oh well.
Had to change browser to upload these, but really wanted to join this lovely thread... My OSP and my graduate Parker, a much treasured gift - from my mother.
gifts from Mom are the best! that pen is suddenly worth more than the Speedmaster! unless that was from Mom too...... then I want to be adopted!
Thanks Fritz, very kind. Yes, this pen is surely valued most than my Speedmaster, at least in my own stock exchange. Lovely memories, too - I signed my two degree theses as well as all my job contracts, with that Parker. Concerning the Omega, no, she could never understand why to afford such an expense when a Casio or Swatch would work as well. I didn't bother her with details as price, year, or even with the fact that I bought one...
a Hamilton and a classy pen..... ya gotta love it. Even hidden away in your pockets they make you feel good. Now does the pencil below belong with the Elgin railway Watch or the big ass Swiss monster (seriously, 1/2 pound with its chain)
This thread really needs some fountain pen love...here is my 2254.50 with a Visconti Michelangelo fountain.
