Its pretty easy, click on your name in the upper right, then click on Personal Details and pick an image whether watch related or not, that way you appear as something other than an Omega symbol and are easier to identify!
Yep, most of us identify members by their avatar. You get so used to them you don't have to look for the person's name to know it's them posting.
I used to rotate avatars until a few members complained that about it. Decided to stick with that on WTF and just rotate signatures. The Omega Recycling symbol used here is the best fit for my collecting pattern.
If you're new, think about setting an avatar for us, makes it so much easier to read your posts! And if you've been around a while and don't have one, don't be surprised if I set it to the logo of a sporting team nobody likes (Collingwood / Rabbitohs for Australians, Flyers / Cowboys for Americans, and Manchester United for Englishmen).
Hey now, the Flyers are the team everybody loves to hate - there's a difference! I think cartoon avatars would be better. The old Hanna Barbera gang comes to mind. (so let's take bets on what Ashley will change mine to tonight )
Sports teams are too obscure, I have no idea who any of those teams are. A random image from "Women laughing alone with salad" would be more amusing (just sayin')
