    Hello all
i have purchased used Seamaster 212.30.41.61.01.001 from a very legit and known store that sells new ones and also trades in with used ones.. I did not get documents since they did not have it. Watch seems very clean and legit. I don't any reason to worry since I know it is very legit store, Still would like to understand how can I look up its serial number to verify it? Its serial number is 9132065X (i hid the last digit in purpose). Is there a way to learn more on it? When was it made, etc?
    thanks!

I always wonder the reason to hide/omit serial numbers on watches on public forums like this one ??? I dont think a credit card account can be opened with this information. Am I missing something :)

Its so that the serial number doesn't end up on a fake watch, the scumbags can potentially use it for that purpose.
