Seems good to me. I never saw a redial where they achieved a original texture like that.

Thanks Ivan, thought so too, but they manage to refurbish honeycombs and Florentines so you thought worth asking!

Maybe the refinishing cabal hasn't gotten wind of the 70's cushion case rise in popularity yet . . .

Looks like the lume from the 1 o'clock marker is jammed in the day/date window, so that should be removed before you do anything.

Also, the case back gasket has turned to black goop (technical term I use for it) so that needs to be cleaned and a new gasket installed. Likely you should just have the whole thing serviced.

    Cheers, Al

Nice watch! Having something similar coming, but I have to ask why no T with all that lumes? Afraid even Omega may not have a satisfactory answer...

Not sure though none of this reference seem to have T, maybe they used something other than Tritium ?

Or could just be a stoner seventies moment, this 166.087 lacks even Swiss on the dial

The one on the OVDB that you posted a screenshot above does have Ts. Your 166.087 is a redial though as the printing has smear and they forgot to print Swiss Made.

Thanks for your reply TNT, my old eyes have a hard time seeing the OVDB image clearly, it's not a great picture and other high resolution pictures of 166.089 on the forums and ebay hasn't got the T's

Also not sure the 166.087 is a redial, looking at it under magnification and not seeing any imperfections, although the is clearly no Swiss visible on the dial. Could it be under the chapter ring? Have it posted in M2M here and another forum so just dropped the price to reflect my uncertainty . .

Oh, my apology. I did not mean to rain on your sking price as I'm not familiar with the price range for your watch. I just wanted to point out something I noticed. You should just set the price that's fair for you and you're happy with. Good luck with selling.

No worries mate! If a buyer wants it at the lowered price we should both be happy, if not I will happily hold onto it.

Didn't mean to sound cheeky at all . . .
