Does anyone know please if the Seamaster 1000M came with a bracelet other than the mesh and if they come up for sale often? I preferred to wear my Big Blue on the bracelet as the case shape made the mesh too uncomfortable (I'm sure it worked fine over a wetsuit!), while the 1000M wears ok on the mesh it is a bit new and stiff and not so comfortable.

Did you try it on a vintage Isofrane ... pretty comfortable but hard to find.

 

Not yet, I'll be keeping an eye out for one though. I asked Simon at STS in the UK and he said the 1000M only came with the mesh or Isofrane. I think I'll be buying a new black Isofrane to start with though, while I wait for a vintage one.

 

Do you have pictures on the wrist with the isofrane?

 

Here are a couple, although the strap isn't so visible. I bought a blue Isofrane but felt it was far too thick for both 1000M and Big Blue, so I bought both of them 22mm Omega rubber straps from that lot on eBay from Australia (Watchco?). The straps are great but they aren't as adjustable as the Isofrane, which has the holes for the buckle much closer together.





I wear the Big Blue on the bracelet now, much more comfortable. It's all about the lugs.

 

I always found the Big Blue very uncomfortable to wear because it doen´t have the open lugs on the side as the 1000m case has.
But seeing yours makes me want mine back again.

I have one in black and one in OD green, love them both. Both Isofrane were ordered on the internet.

 

Hi I have a synchron tropic but it does not fit my 1000m . I'm surprised the isofrane does thanks. There's not much room for straps.
