I would like to get a Sapphire sandwich Speedmaster Professional. I checked out the new 311.30.42.30.01.006 at an AD a few days ago but the black dial with white hands did not really appeal to me (sorry, I hope I did not offend anybody :) ).

I prefer one with white, silver or white panda dial. I am aware of and really like the 3692.30 - the white gold version with silver dial and silver hands. The problem is the rarity and price of this particular unit.

Are you aware of other sapphire sandwich versions that have white, silver or white panda dials?

I'm not sure what your budget is but there's this one for sale on Christies that seems to hit all your marks

that article you included mentioned white Speedys for the Italian market but they only mentioned the white gold and skeletonized models. the one linked is in SS..1863 movement sapphire sandwich with white on white dial/subdials.

The Italian LE dial isnt actually white, its cream colour, if you were expecting it to be white then you'd be disappointed.

Thank you all. I haven't been checking this thread for a while, but have been doing some more research on different dials.

bb58 & pascs: Italian LE (3593.20) - sapphire sandwich with cream dial and grey hands is nice. I actually started liking panda dials better recently. With panda dials, there is Apollo XI 35th LE Hesalite front/Apollo 11 sapphire back (3569.31) and the Mitsukoshi Hesalite front/SSteel back (3570.31). I especially like the silver hands on 3569.31 and that's the watch I decided to get. My holy grail of course is 3692/3192.30.

The white gold one if you want to pay the premium then go for it. It is an amazing piece but a good full set is going to run you slightly over 10 grand and a bracelet version much much higher
