Working through my photographic collection attempting some form of organisation :(
Got me thinking it's time to go back to monochrome a lot more.
Anyone else feel that we are missing out a bit with colour?
And the old holiday snap that started all this - interested to hear or see comments/pics.

Love the contrasts and play with shadow and light. A fantastic shot!

Fantastic composition. Do you recall if you used a graduated ND on the highlights?--seems like a lot of range in the exposure there.

As my wife often tells me "if I had a memory I would be dangerous" :( Taken around nine years ago so afraid I can't say.

I know I am new to the forum and watches, but B/W is something that has been a hobby of mine for over 25 years. Love the shot you captured and yes, the flip changes the entire emotion of the picture.

I tend to be a little heavy in my contrast, simply because my mind's eye likes it. 61800x600.jpg

Ok! not a great effort this one :( but if it had been in colour I can assure you it would have been even worse -

Not as elaborate as your locations, but since we are showing arches...

Tbh i really like this one.
Might not be as 'technically' as sharp, or as clean as the other one, but interesting angle,
and the 'lean/slope' give it a quirky illusion effect
