    While trying to bring my 105.003 back into original condition i got pretty lucky to accidently find this auctionPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
    My eyesight was pretty good, because in there i found this

    First Babystep to originality is completed, now my watch looks like this

    Crown and large second hand will come next.
    And i am still in serious need for a correct dial ;) :whistling:

    Oh you won that auction, I was watching it too and saw that bezel. Glad you won it and looks like a great bezel too :thumbsup:

    Nice! It's fun hunting stuff like that, ain't it?

    Just one small nit to pick: it can never be "original" if it doesn't have the original parts. It certainly can be "authentic" and "correct", which is nearly as good. Most collectors are fine with either but prefer original, especially with provenance.

    Nice find, congrats!


    And given that only a tiny tiny tiny fraction of vintage watches could ever have certainty of being 100% "original", I'd be quite happy with "authentic and correct"!

    Would have no hesitation to replace original and crappy parts with authentic & correct parts in better condition. Throw the crappy parts in a box for the stickler in case you decide to sell later on.

    I think i completed my task :) If you can confirm that this dial is correct for a 105.003. ;)
    By far the most expensive part i bought but i hope it was worth it.
