    :eek: Just a 'Bit of a gamble' with dead batteries sat in it for at least 14 years, and no movement shot? Dread to think how much fun you'd have with something relatively low risk like alligator wrestling....

    This one has the correct, dial coloured date ring and importantly has the swivel lug extensions that make it sit nicely on the wrist. The strap is not original (they were brown) and he is open to offers. The BIN is about what you'd expect to pay this side of the pond.

    I would say Yes based on the pictures provided. Text is a little light and a little too close to the star, the "1" and the "2" of the twelve are not even, and the dial overall is suspiciously featureless - no grain, no texture, no patina, no blemishes.
