At the price that Speedy went for, you may as well shop your favorite on-line dealers and get a useless warranty, too!
The 'fresh" ones always draw a bid don't they. Nice bracelet on that one that doesn't need any stretchies(only missing 1, nbd). They can be costly.
I am looking for my first vintage Speedy, and was in the game for this one, it is nice. It went just over my bid limit however. The good thing is, another will come along, and the hunt is half the fun. ;-) Appreciate having this knowledgeable group around to comment!
Has its flaws to be sure but an important reference for vintage omegas: http://www.ebay.com/itm/OMEGAMANIA-...21248431368?pt=AU_Watches&hash=item1c3af83d08Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
This one is not my cup of tea, but someone will like it: http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-RAR...-712-NR-/310838068656?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Another Alex special. Has an 18K dial also. gatorcpa
Not too shabby, but only on my watch list for pricing purposes. For me to give up my blue dialed Constellation 157.001 somebody would have to give me stupid money, as in triple market value at least. Seriously, I'd sell my Genève 14.703 long before that ultra-thin Connie.
Puh-leez! You totally enjoyed stringing me along for those few months. I could tell from your very first post about the watch on WTF that you knew you caught me asleep at the (eBay) switch.
Pretty nice 18k Connie for reasonable $. This seller has lots of repaints but usually states it in listing. Looks ok to me, what u guys think? http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-OME...H-/281242717519?&_trksid=p2056016.m2518.l4276Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Yea probably same thing I did. That's the starting bid.. But these high starters roll over without bids a lot. especially the first round. So maybe you can get it for that .Or a side offer ; )
"This seller has lots of repaints but usually states it in listing". Even a blind "squirrel" (SOD) finds a nut once in a while.
