I believe that's also a 1450 bracelet which puts the value up even further, but I'll let someone else confirm that, good buy either way though.

It looks like a 1450 and the date ascribed to the watch would be consistent with it being on a 1450.

I got my 20th anniversary speedy from Kringkily. I paid ~$2000, but it didn't have box/papers or the bracelet. However, I think mine is in better condition

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Speed...Wristwatches&hash=item1e7e699d74#ht_36wt_1259Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

The serial number seems to put this at 1991-1992, and not 1985 as the ad says. The price is a bit high to start with, but there is an offer button. It seems legit otherwise. What would be a good price for this? Just curious as I'm in the market for a patch watch and not this...

that price is out of wack. It is a legit watch but probably a grand or more over value.

Fair value would be around USD 2000-2500. There is no upside of its status as NOS because it is not yet a vintage, and the newer version still on production. The only person I could think of will pay the premium is the one looking for birthyear watch.
The problem as you identify, the year itself is not firm. You should use Speedmaster S/N instead of normal Omega S/N. Even that it may swing 1-2 years difference unless we got extract of the archives.

No, that was entirely phased out by 1970 I believe.
