Seems there are a lot of decent Wittnauers popping up. This one is worth an offer of up to $140, or even more if you like it. It's a nice movement. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LONGINES-Wi...117833670?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item43c7f99dc6Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
The white balance of the pictures is overexposed, so I can barely see something and the delivery fee is huge. Additionally, if there are custom taxes you can easily reach 300 usd.
Yes, but it still looks good. Huh? It says "free shipping" which, unless I forgot how to understand English overnight, means there is no delivery fee. Where do you see a shipping cost??? It's not the seller's fault you live in a place that charges import duties or VAT. Bottom line: If you think it's such a hassle, DON'T BUY IT THEN. Have a nice day!
I really cannot see much details on those pictures, sorry. Sometimes I have the feeling they just take bad pictures on purpose. Regarding the "free shipping". It states 38,10 usd charges. "Shipping: $38.10 International Priority Shipping to Romania" I can take a print screen if need it. As I said "Additionally, if there are custom taxes you can easily reach 300 usd.". Of course, it is not seller's fault where the buyer lives. All I wanted to say was that for some of us there are additional costs and the final price will be almost 300 usd. I hope my response is more a re-conciliating one than a vendetta because this is my intention.
Yeah, I think this watch is one to be avoided, although I think the movement is very cool with that rotor. It looks like there may be significant wear through on the sides of the lugs. Could be an optical illusion, but the seller has done themselves no favors here with poor photography. gatorcpa
Nope, it REALLY looks like this. Asked for some clearer shots and it does not look any better. Scratched to all get out. Wayne
No a bad Conquest, but someone went a little nuts repairing the fish. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ORIGINAL-VI...MOD-CIRCA-1950-HIGH-COLLECTIBLE-/181375171865Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

I tried to buy that watch over a year ago. The seller has no interest in negotiation I noticed that they have raised the price slightly since then. It's a very nice watch, if you can get a few bucks off. Good luck, gatorcpa
Alex has a date-at-12 Conquest listed: http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-LONGINES-CONQUEST-AUTOMATIC-18K-SOLID-YELLOW-GOLD-CASE-DIAL-NO-RESERVE/171321290359?_trksid=p2047675.m1985&_trkparms=aid=444000&algo=SOI.CURRENT&ao=1&asc=22775&meid=6776585242748057396&pid=100012&prg=9828&rk=5&rkt=5&sd=390830699706&Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network The crown is incorrect, but the rest of the watch looks nice with only a light polishing.
If I haven't depleted my watch budget (and my credit card limit) with my recent purchases I will enter this auction.......
