I guess the whole point is that an Ashley can't be modest.

Lou, you know you should have gone for it, right? My mint 14ct example has the whole set - inner and outer boxes with papers and I paid $2300 for it.

well, hang on tightly, let go lightly, as they say. One of these days, a 14K or 18K one will come along....

Anyway, I have had my share watch goodness come my way today - one of my core Primeros returned from a fettling overseas - the watchmaker delivered it in person over a nice dinner...post to come.

I watched it but didn't bid the first round. This time I offered the last "winning" bid but the seller wants it to ride. At $610 a copy in this condition I'd love a few. But I suspect the winning bidder will have zero feedback this time, too.

BTW, never saw a Conquest with white markers and hands. Legit?

I don't think I'd go for this one the case is very pitted on the back side and the dial appears to be refinished.

If one of you wanted to score a high beat Flagship with the Ultra-Chron logo dial and caliber 431 like recently posted by one of our members, here's your chance:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/251363624658?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Original buckle too. Worth an offer although 3 have been declined already. It's not bad at the asking price and looks all correct to me.

Had it been stainless I would have offered it a new home.
