I have a Seamaster that has the reference number 166.0205. Looking up the number in the Omega database shows a watch that looks exactly like mine. The gold color, gold dial, leather strap, case shape, etc. It also says that the watch has the 1012 movement which mine does. When I search on Google for other watches of the same number, I see some that are silver and some that have the 1010 movement in them. In fact, most of them have the 1010. The database also says that the watch was produced starting in 1976 but the serial number on my movement, 36153243, dates it to 1973. The other examples all date from '78 or '79 according to their description. Is it just that the database is not that accurate? Or maybe the movement was made in '73 but not housed and sold until '76? It's a bit confusing.
