Had a little spare time and thought I'd try some water drop photography. Hope you enjoy.

    Barmy,
Shot with a Canon 5dMk2, 100mm macro, and three hi speed strobes. A solenoid switch releases the water a drop at a time (or two or three drops) from a tube above the water pan at pre-programed intervals. Once the soleniod is activated a variable mili-second delay is sent to the shutter. This fires the strobes and the shutter. By adjusting the delay you can freeze the drop (or drops) anywhere in the frame.
EDIT: The shutter is actually open the entire time in a darkened room. The strobes fire on signal to illuminate and freeze the action.

Different coloured gels on the strobes to give you the colours?
