I've got one of these zip-up pouches when I bought a watch from Dennis but I've seen a few members with them, anyone know where they come from? Its a plastic pouch that's clear and thicker than a sandwich bag or anything like that, with a sliding zipper across the top that keeps it air tight for storage

And do you guys use any desiccants or water absorbers inside them to keep the watches dry?

Silica gel is a must here in the sub-tropics.

Keep them in the watch boxes and in the safe.

What size do you recommend Kyle? And any links to the silica gel packs?

2x6 works fine with Omegas on straps , if you're sticking watches with bracelets though you might want something bigger.

Any chance you'd sell me 20? I can't justify having 100 sitting around...but would to buy some off you if you aren't going to use them all. PM me if interested.

    Cheers

I think the shipping would end up costing more than the bags, posting to the US from Australia costs a lot more than shipping the other way, but I'm sure you could find some use for the other 80, if there's a pond near by you could give all the ducks a hat for when it rains :)

They are brilliant though, until Dennis sent me one I'd been using sandwich bags which are rubbish, these are robust, sealed and provide good protection, well worth $50.

I use the normal ziploc bags for my watches and spare parts but those thick ones look pretty substantial

I'd love to join (or form) a cooperative. 20, 25, or 33 would all work for me. Maybe we can get a US group, Euro group, etc.to minimize postage?

You know the easiest solution to this problem of what to do with 100 bags is to just buy more watches, it saves on shipping them out everywhere too.
