I've got one of these zip-up pouches when I bought a watch from Dennis but I've seen a few members with them, anyone know where they come from? Its a plastic pouch that's clear and thicker than a sandwich bag or anything like that, with a sliding zipper across the top that keeps it air tight for storage
Like these? http://bsdsupply.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=34_40 I split a pack of 100 with a buddy.
2x6 works fine with Omegas on straps , if you're sticking watches with bracelets though you might want something bigger.
Ah perfect, just bought a pack http://www.ebay.com/itm/400524390915Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Thanks guys, now just have to track down some silica gel...
Any chance you'd sell me 20? I can't justify having 100 sitting around...but would to buy some off you if you aren't going to use them all. PM me if interested. Cheers
I think the shipping would end up costing more than the bags, posting to the US from Australia costs a lot more than shipping the other way, but I'm sure you could find some use for the other 80, if there's a pond near by you could give all the ducks a hat for when it rains They are brilliant though, until Dennis sent me one I'd been using sandwich bags which are rubbish, these are robust, sealed and provide good protection, well worth $50.
Ha - was just going to write a response to my own post that included this.... - should have looked to see from what part of the world you are from. Thanks for the reply.
I was thinking about getting some...maybe we could split the hundred? Let me know if your interested.
I use the normal ziploc bags for my watches and spare parts but those thick ones look pretty substantial
I'd love to join (or form) a cooperative. 20, 25, or 33 would all work for me. Maybe we can get a US group, Euro group, etc.to minimize postage?
You know the easiest solution to this problem of what to do with 100 bags is to just buy more watches, it saves on shipping them out everywhere too. Just more sound financial advice brought to you by: Omegaforums.net
