I tried the stainless and the titanium on and the weight difference was night and day. Very good decision. Not only does that look better, but it will last longer, and it gives contrast to the dial and markers too. Happy early birthday!

I am also looking at this titanium model for quite sometime. I just wonder if the titanium stretch easily than the stainless steel model?

Not in term of weight, but in term of stretch resistant and dent. Will the titanium model better resistant?

Charlie here, to give you an idea on the weight. The titanium chrono is lighter than the stainless non chrono. The crown smoother, better scratch resistant, it will not stretch on you. The bezel is stronger too. Less dings. Plus the detail is 100% better too from the dial to the markers. Retail is about 2,000 dollars more but I think it is worth it. Plus in person is a million times better than the web. But if you look at pictures from an owner on the web you can see the difference. Plus it is a little flatter than the stainless it sits flatter that is. I can ask my omega boutique guy any other questions you have.

I think that it's worth the $2500 difference because the hardware, look, and feel are considerably different. I also know that buyer remorse would kick in if you bought the stainless and then saw the liquid metal version. Ironically I am in the same boat and I think I will get that 45.5 size.

could you private message me your email?

Congrats on the watch. I love the Ti personally althoughI wish that the bracelet didn't show scratches so easily. I've also noticed that my bracelet is a slightly different colour than my case (once you notice these things it's impossible to ignore).

Consider getting your wife the small PO!

Is it to say that the stainless steel model is more resistant to scratches?

In my opinion, the bracelets on stainless models do not show up scratches as easily. It seems to be due to the manner in which the light is reflected off the titanium. If you have a look at a new/unworn Ti watch in any dealer you will note the link which comes into contact with the clasp will already be marked. An equivalent SS PO model shows no similar effect. It doesn't bother me but worth recognising ahead of a big purchase.

Sorry about delay from posts. Have been enjoying wearing since birthday. For a large watch is very comfortable to wear, so if budget allows go the titanium.
Will be putting the watch thru some testing soon, booked in for scuba diving and windsurfing lessons. Hopefully some underwater shots to come
