Is there others than me that find it fun to collect these timers? Omega have great history in making timers for the Olympics and others sports. Especially the Olympic timers is one of the holy grail in Omega timers but they are very expensive. It is my grail but i havent got one yet. I the more affordable department are the industrial, medical and sports timers. Nothing special in the horological way. They are well documented in the Omega "A Journey Through Time" where it is possible find a lot of information on many variations they made. Best Thomas ----------------------------- 1. Reviving this old thread - On some of these industry timers, such as the MG1174, the 60 minute totaliser have coloured segments. Do you know what the segments represent?
Like these ? They are sport timers.. 45', 35' for volleyball, soccer, field hockey 20' for Basketball, Ice Hockey, Handbal,.. 5' for waterpolo
I looked up the model, other very similar stopwatches came out, but non was exactly the same, is it Olympic, and what do you think its worth?
Cool, thanks I am estimating 1,500€ comparing to other old rattrapantes Cool, thanks I am estimating 1,500€ comparing to other old rattrapantes So I found the same rattrapante Olympic, because it has the read logo: https://www.ebay.it/itm/OMEGA-OLYMP...OGRAPH-RATTRAPANTE-POCKET-WATCH-/274427159605Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
I own about twenty Omega rattrapante counter, bought them from 50 to 200 euros depending on condition for the small ones, and up to 600 for the big ones true Olympic (colored number on the dial) with Omega extract of archives.. so I'd say yours would go for 300-600 euros on ebay.
You need to understand the 85%+ of eBay buy it now do not sell due to overpricing. Your only comparison is to look at eBay sold prices. I would agree with the price from uwsearch.
