Another addition. Oh dear. Impulse purchase today. I was attracted by the bluish bezel faded from black, the yellowish lume and what I hope is an original unpolished case dial and hands. I'm sure the experts will let me know!
Came on original bracelet but swapped out for strap so it can be worn by my other half!

53mill serial so 1991 I guess. Service marks inside case back.

Only thought was 2 of the subdials have darker centres but the second hand does not. Is it a replacement?

I know there is little love for the reduced auto models but it is rather lovely and practical too. [IMG]

Nice overall watch but the subdials are missing paint on the center area

Yes. It's odd 2 of them have it.

Lovely example, good choice of strap too!

Not sure why the paint's missing on your subdail hands, your guess they are replacements is likely correct

If corrosion its unlikely to have been so uniform and localized ?

Looks like it had proper Omega services so maybe was done then? Will take a shot of inside later today.

Congrats on your purchase, never thought an automatic speedy could be so good looking! Nice bezel and what a great dial! Mind letting us know how much did you pay for this watch, another impulse buy sounds like you got a this watch for a bargain ;)
