Now that is interesting. I am working on an idea for doing the same thing in a slightly different way for re-graining a Chronostop case. I involves using diamond slips to achieve the delicate grain effect. At the moment I have refinished the case and it's ready for the graining, but due to house renovations, I can't get near my machinery to finish the job off. When I do, I will post up the result.
Nice jigg but think it looks a little to ruff . I think a stick with about 400 grain paper would be perfect .
