I know it´s bit late but i just wanted to know if i did ok with this one.
It is a very late 105.012 serial starts with 260
so it even could be that bezel and hands are correct.
    What do you say?

yup, if i didn´t see it wrong on the pictures, have to wait until i receive it.
It is a 66 thou, so serial should be in the higher end

Saw the listing. Serial too late for a 66. Replacement bezel and chrono hand at least? No pic of crown in original listing.

Haven't seen higher than 25.44 before, that serial combined with the bezel and hands would concern me a bit

I am not concerned yet... at least the case is nice and i find the lume does match quite well. Bezel also looks well used so if it was changed, it did happen in the early years of this watch .

My 105.012-66 CB is a 2495 xxxx serial. Pushers look like the shorter ones which are correct for the CB case. My dial has the narrower T Swiss Made T

Is it true that the 321 cal ceased to be made in 1960 and serial numbers were added based on the subsequent year they were "expected" to be sold?

Still have to learn about these vintage watches
But the price was tempting and if it isnt what it looks like i will tear it apart and sell the parts

If it were me I'd be pulling an extract on the serial to verify the reference, if it confirms 105.012 it'll be an interesting outlying data point, if not it'll tell you a lot more about the history of the watch

I had that saved I my watch list to see where it went. Do you have a return option? As above Id get an extract with a view to returning if it comes back as a transplanted movement.

The hands and bezel can be sourced if you got it at a decent price but if it's a complete Franken it'd be too much for me.

As soon as i got it, i will provide more detailed pics. The serial is hard to read from the pictures it could also be starting with 250...... We just have to wait a couple of days until it arrives.

I got use for the dial because my 145.012 has all the lume scratched off.
But i still have hope that it is what i believe, a very very late 105.012 ... in that case even the second hand and the bezel could still be orginal. On the other hand it could be a 105.012 which had a serious service end of the 60ties and bezel, hands, dial could have been swapped.

Bezel wouldn't be even if it were very late, even 145.022-69s in the 29M range have DON

Hopefully your right and the movement comes back ok.

Even in the worse case scenario it sounds like you have a use for the dial and if it is a franken, there's no real shame in breaking it up for parts. I'm sure a CB case and the 321 would interest a few people.

Have to agree that the hands and bezel certainly aren't original though.

    Keep us posted, good luck!

Most certainly you are right about the bezel.
I just checked the extract of records of my 145.012-67 which has a serial starting with 260 too, in fact it is just 7000 units apart from the serial of the 105.012.It was produced in
    68 thou.
I really hope i couldnt read the number right and it is 250 instead of 260 .
But always look at the bright side... i love the dial and the case. ;)

Franken or not, that's actually a nice looking watch; given full disclosure in any further sale, it would seem a shame to break it....

I agree with Mothra. The watch is a nice looking one and you should wear it and enjoy it for what it is.

Above is a list of 105.012 s/n that I have collected off the internet. With the exception of the last one on the list, the s/n's are all less than 25 xxx xxx. The bezel is incorrect. The hands are incorrect. The dial looks like it might have been relumed. I think it is a Franken in a CB case.
