I'm considering getting a couple of the mesh bracelets for my watches. How difficult are they to adjust or shorten? I don't want to ruin one just trying to make it fit.
    Thanks

The clasp has a lot of adjustment and the mesh is already quite short IMO. I have to use one extension and nearly all the clasp adjustment for 7 3/4" wrist

Are you talking about the Omega branded mesh? I have three of them (20, 22, 24 mm) and they fit well on my 7.25 wrist. I have them on the furthest pin, so if I had to go larger I would need to buy one of the mesh extensions they offer.

I know it might be hard to see the length in the pic due to the angle, but the measurement is 6 1/4 inches. This is with it adjusted on the furthers pin.
If you are asking about the off brand mesh, I can tell you I bought a low cost mesh for my Longines Legend (since sold) and had to use the dremel to cut it down to make it work. This was a pain.

I would love an original Omega mesh bracelet but with a 8.5" wrist I don't think it's possible.

Thanks for the help. Yes I'm talking about the Omega mesh bracelet. I think I might order one for my SM300 Master Co-Ax. The only issue I have is the braclet on the SM seems to be 21mm and I'm not sure if the 22mm will fit and the 20mm might look bad. Any thoughts?

Well that is a tough call. There is little to no movement, so I don't think the 22mm would fit and I do not have a 21mm watch to test with.

Is that a 20mm bracelet? It's likely the right one to order. I'd just like a replacement to keep the original bracelet from getting too marked up. I guess I could get a NATO of some sort as well.

The 20mm is on top, the 22mm on the bottom.

Maybe see if you can do a GTG with others on this forum in your geographic area, as I bet they would have a 20 or 22mm mesh your could try.

There's a group buy from Watchco on the mesh bracelets. I guess if I order the 20 and looks bad I can use it on my PO. I have a strap and the Omega Orange rubber for it already though.
Maybe I'll post a thread to see if anyone else has tried a mesh band on a new SM300 Co-Ax yet

    Thanks again for your help
