I have this flight master dial which was probably kept in open air for a long time. All the markings are intact but as can be seen it's really dull. Is it possible to make it better by applying wax polish or something? Regards

 

Only do that if you want to ruin it...

This project has the makings of a great do-it-yourself-experimental thread. You could sacrifice that dial to help others, what a noble endeavor. You would probably be awarded a Permanent Spot in the Omega Forum Hall Of Fame and live on forever.
