I have a lovely vintage deville chrono 146.017 cal.930. Its gold plated and its showing some wear around the lugs.

Couple of days ago i bought a nos case, steel version, and im just wondering if its possible to source a white/black dial for this model?

i think the ss model is prettier, but the thing that hassles me is that i actually got an extract from the archives from bienne which says my omega is originally a gold plated model. its not refurbished or anything so a part of me wants to keep it as is.

the case is complete with glass, pushers etc so i only need the dial.

That's a lovely watch. I would leave it as it is.

Dials are no longer available from Omega., so you would have to find a used one or a NOS dial that a 3rd party was selling....part number for the silver version would be 064TT1473003 if that helps.

    Cheers, Al

    Thanks Al!
dials are hard to find. Watchco Australia sold their last 146.017 dial 5y ago.

i'll try my luck on ebay, hopefully a smashed item with pristine dial shows up. (Yeah right..)

Just realised that i only need a cal.930 and some spare parts from ofrei.

So, where do i find a spare movement?

I would keep the gold plated as is. BTW: I do not think the cal 930 was used in any other ref? So you will always get a match with the ref if you ask Omega for an extract.
Finding a 930 movement might prove hard as these where produced in low numbers (I do not have my books available but I guess maximum 10.000).

Cal 930 is also used in the Bullhead.

I imagine a lot of these Devilles have ended up being donors for Frankenbullheads ;)

Yes, they are available still. Trying to negotiate a price now. Could be tricky.
