Hi All I am new here Just to share some pictures about a beautiful and very rare Omega Constellation King Ibn Saud in 18K rose gold from 1956 - 1957 calibre 505 this watch come full set box and papers the dial is not in perfect condition but I like this omega I'll leave this watch in this condition I do not want restored the dial i think if you restored a dial you remove his story a part of his past then it will remain with its past and its imperfections thank you for your comments and patience, a lots of pictures Farid. http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdelaziz_ben_Abderrahmane_al-Saoud [/URL
I was wondering why I wasn't seeing any dial shots after more than 2 dozen pictures...... and then I see the dial and know why.
The box and case is beautiful though, very uncommon watch indeed. There have been a few Grand Luxe versions sold in recent years but you don't see many regular cases with the box.
Yes indeed, huge discrepancy between case and dial. As I was scrolling after reading Farid's intro, I was thinking "With a case like that, how bad could it be?"
The only logical explanation re dial would be that it has been kept without the plexiglass for a very long time......
Dial is a little too aged for me, if it was a little better I would have bought it! Still a rare watch though, congrats.
Rare camel fart patina ! Just a joke but I am stunned to see the aging from a low-humidity environment. sohail is probably right, but there has to be more to the story.
Just saw this one on the bay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Seama...259106601?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item1e8fa70529Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
