    Fellow Omega fans,

A friend and I have recently launched a new website called Wound For Life. Before you all get your pitchforks and yell "SPAM!", that's not what I'm after. Yes, I'd love to grow my website and get a bunch of readers -- why the hell would I even bother putting the effort in?!? What I'm looking for is honest critiques and feedback for the site. If we end up making it to your daily blog roll, that's just a bonus. And fear not, I won't be posting every last article...just this once!

I may not be an epic member of Omega Forums, but I do contribute, and I'm a major fan of Omegas. We've featured Omega a couple of times so far, with more content to come, but the general theme of our content is watches built to last (hence why we've already written about Omega).

So, if you have the chance, please head over to www.woundforlife.com and give us a look. Or not, it's your time that we're asking for. Our latest article was a quick breakdown of the Mark series, and one of our upcoming articles will tackle a bunch of the odd chronographs from the 70s. It may not be as in depth as some of the stuff you can find on here, but I think we cover the basics that should help the lay person.

    Thanks so much!

    Best,
    Shane Griffin

Wound for Life, eh? I can see the mistaken hits because of Google searches from "heartbroken exes" and "retired soldiers".

That name is a bit unfortunate. I always read it the "wrong" way.

Site content and articles look promising, but it seems like yet-another Wordpress watch blog when there's already many to choose from. It would be nice to see something based on leaner/more modern publishing software too. Wordpress + pile-o-jquery + multiple image sliders and plugins is getting a bit tired and dated feeling.
