    Hi Guys

Just received this in the post. 1970 Chronostop 145.007. Seems pretty clean to me and correct but, I bought it on a whim so, any comments welcome. This is a big watch for 1970, 22mm lugs and similar size to a Speedmaster Pro. Convinced myself it was broken as I didn't see how to hold the second reading until I took the back off - ahh, hold the pusher down. Good for timing artillery shells, I believe, but for anything over sixty seconds, you have to count the minutes yourself! I admit I did not do due diligence or even find out how they work before buying it.

Movement is fairly clean, cal 865 serial number 29 million or so:

Amusing timegrapher reading and no, I did not even bother to set the lift angle:

Hands and dial go well with this 20 mm NATO. Needs an Omega crystal as this one warps the dial numbers.

Quite pleased for a non thought out buy. Does anyone see any obvious problems?

    Cheers, Chris
