Beautiful. LE Bullhead or LE Speedy, LE Bullhead or LE Speedy? Wish I could get both. If you could buy only one which would it be?

I'd choose this over both the Bullhead and the Mark II.

Well bring on the hate for my post.

As a new piece I find the watch to be quite attractive. I only take issue with two things. First, I think the dial looks off balance at the top. I wish that either the logo or all of the text was in gold to match the hands and markers. It just looks empty in that space. Second, there is no way I'm paying that kind of money for a nylon NATO style strap one a watch like this. I hope there is a bracelet option right around the corner for it.

As a 45th Anniversary piece and a possible tribute to the original watch that made the trip to the moon, no way. I guess Omega is banking on the FOIS filling this gap, but for me, this was lost opportunity.

I would have liked to see a them go back and reproduce a dial similar to the pre-moon dials. A stepped dial, long markers, and a raised logo all sitting on a new dark slate gray finish would look stunning to me. Just a few cosmetic changes could have updated the look but keep the original moon watch lineage alive. The case back would reference the historic nature of the event and the history of the watch. A more vintage style bracelet would have been nice too but made stronger and more comfortable with todays technology. I would have even loved to see a JB style thicker mesh band but 20mm wide with end pieces that fit the case but had a real retro look.

Lastly, I mentioned this in my original dream 45th Anniversary thread, I wish Omega sourced a piece of flown material from Apollo 11 and incorporated it into the watch. Many coins have been made from flown materials, and I would think, easily available to the company with close ties to NASA like Omega has. I don't think I would be the only one sold on having a piece of Apollo 11 on my wrist and at 1969 pieces totally doable.

I'll take my medicine now. I can always go back to WUS;) Flame away.....

As long as the 50th Anniversary LE in 2019 gets a Calibre 321 re-issue movement I'll be happy with whatever else they do :)

It'd be the biggest hit ever with collectors and Moonwatch enthusiasts, and what a fitting way to commemorate the greatest achievement of the Speedmaster

That's an awesome looking dial, it would have been nice if the price includes a full titanium bracelet ...

Has there ever been a Speedmaster Pro with full bracelet in titanium before? Just wondering because it seems like something they'd have done but I can't remember ever seeing one

hummm, that I am not sure. but they did quite a few Seamaster with titanium case and speedie style bracelet, the X33 comes with full titanium bracelet option, and the new Speedmaster 9300 titanium also has full titanium bracelet.

It did, but that was a 33x3 series automatic from memory rather than a Calibre 1861 manual wind

I love this watch, certainly beats anything rolex revealed at Basel.
