Quite suddenly, the "quote" feature when I make a reply to a thread no longer works. I click on the quote symbol, but I end up back in my reply with no quote. Is this a result of upgrading to IE 11?

Just tested this. Unfortunately, it appears to be an issue with IE11. We'll see if it's something we can sort out. Thanks for reporting it.

In the mean time, a quick fix would be to use a better web browser like Chrome, Firefox, etc.

For me it works when placing the cursor on the quote symbol, click the "right button" on my mouse, pick "open" in the menu. Hope it make sense :)

Today I got another problem, though. When using the "Forums" button I get this:

    of_xxx.png

    Any others get this too?

    Thanks.

I don't think that one is related to Omega Forums. If you look at your address bar, it's showing "http://omegaforums.net/6.0/gui". This address isn't one of ours, or anything that exists on the server. Your favicon (the little website icon) is from a different site too. Weird :)

No matter which way I try to enter "http://omegaforums.net", it jumps to "http://omegaforums.net/6.0/gui". No problem when hitting the other buttons. So yes, very wierd :)

    Thanks.

Deleted all browserdata again, which seems to have fixed it.

    Thanks.

Sometimes happens to me, just clear cache, usually works again.

I had the same problem, eg loosing the quote when trying to reply to a post. But I found that clicking on the little </> thing top right and next clicking on the reply arrow of the post I want to reply to, it works fine.

But its shows funny script while you write the reply and only shows the quote after posting.

The quote has not worked properly for me for many months - I right click the button and open in a new window to get it to work now. I did mention it at the time...

:) Also on ie11 and also not able to use quotes- I would have reported it, but I could have sworn I saw a thread almost identical to this a while back and that the a team were working on it. This also may or may not be related, but my emotions never go in the right place.

There may not be a particularly easy fix, we're actually working on OF3 at the moment and progressing a fair bit, in the mean time do you guys have Chrome or Firefox at all?

Yeah, give who I work for its ie11 or nothing. The 'fire up the rich editor THEN choose a quote' workaround seems to work for me so I can muddle through
