    Hi guys,

I've been looking at a vintage seamaster and found one on ebay that I like (steel case, applied numerals, etc). The condition looks good, but can anyone speak to whether the parts are all original?

'The gilt movement is the 17 jewel caliber 611, produced in it original format from 1960 and utilised for many years by Omega due to its success in both reliability and accuracy (the 600 series were tested to an impressive two positions). It has been regularly serviced and runs strongly keeping excellent time. The serial number of 25081029 dates it to the 1967.'

The Seamaster is original but there are lots of measles pop-ups on the dial, the constellation is a bit too expensive with a tired and worn movement.

    Wait for better ones.

Will the measles get worse over time? Have been looking for a seamaster with applied numerals for some time now..

The price seems high for the condition. I got this Automatic 550 movement for a lot less. I am waiting for a Seamaster 600 cal 601 that is very similar. I will keep one and flip the other. They are very similar. The dial of the Seamaster looked like had less patina but I have to compare when I receive. This looks all legit to me signed crown, hands look correct and dial looks original. I like that Seamaster 600 you posted (although i wonder if the hands are correct) but it should be cheaper...
