    Ok, so I'm a bit inept at posting; but ain't those grand?
    I was close once on the Longines' "Big Indian"- some sticker shock got in the way of an otherwise perfectly rational pursuit- but the beyond incredibly rare Sidereal chrono is truly the end of the chase.

    Can someone explain how the disk(s) for the Power
    Reserve function? I just bought one of these and after
    looking at lots of internet and ebay pictures it seems Both
    disks move. The line across the inside disk has a thick
    end and a skinny end> How do you read this also?
    The 0 9 18 27 36 45 also seem in different positions on
    every watch I look at. Help, gotta make sure mine is operating
    proper. Anyone have a scan of instructions? That would be
    nice to have. Thanks

    I purchased my Longines grail new in 1996 from an AD. It's a Lindbergh Hour Angle chronograph. It's currently at the Longines Service Center in NJ receiving a full service...can't wait to get it back!

    My Hour Angle from 1938. I picked it up from the estate of a Dutch Lt. Col. He was working at the Martin Aircraft Company in Baltimore testing Martin Aircraft for the Dutch Air Force when the war broke out and he was recalled. Glen Martin presented it to him.

    My grail was the SS Flagship with full, intact enamel medallion.

    I eventually tired of so many 'dead-end' eBay candidates;

    but then, lo-and-behold, 6 weeks ago, this one kinda fell into my lap (thanks, Dennis!):
