This is what just arrived today

    A new wallet?

It's a nice case with a wallet, but this is what's inside

A 1955/56 stainless steel Conquest Automatic with caliber 19AS with papers and original leather strap and tags. Unfortunately the warranty card has not been stamped so I don't know the exact date when it was originally purchased but serial number dates it roughly to 1955.

The watch is in a very good condition and looks great

Very nice! Excellent medallion condition, and I like that buckle too.

    Big time DIBS!

Yes, I believe the strap is original since it's same/matching leather with the leather wallet/cover of the watch box.

The only problem with this watch is that as much as I would love to wear it, I dare not. I'm afraid that I will scratch it. :(

    Superb!!!

Thanks a lot for your post. My father has a 18K 19AS Conquest... and the wallet that came with it. I knew it was from some sort of casing but I had never seen the full set.

Glad to help! As seen in the pictures, the wallet wraps around the box and forms the cover of the box.

Now that's another thing to put on the radar... because, I didn't mention it on my post, but last year I saw one of those wallets on ebay and couldn't help myself... :D

Thanks, I have actually already sent the serial number to Longines couple of days ago, but no answer yet. Hopefully they will answer soon.
