I have been thinking about taking a punt at this one which is similar http://www.ebay.com/itm/160912394783?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

I've come a bit late to the party, but I can vouch for this seller. Just received my IWC this week and it arrived quickly (4 days from Japan to US East Coast) and very well packed.

I would be patient and keep checking his listings, as he always has a few nice IWC's. I wish I knew if he had a separate website for watches not yet listed.

Good luck with your search,

Opinions on this one?

I have my doubts about that dial being original. It could be, given the rest of the watch is in great shape, but something is making my Spider Sense tingle.

Besides, the bidding is already a little high.

Fully agree. This is our sophisticated Hungarian redialer. I have yet to see one watch from him that wasn't too perfect.

Dennis, Lou, thanks. Maybe Steve will decide to part from his C89 after the new year...😁

I have communicated with this seller some time ago before for a memovox. He admits that his watches are mostly redials. Agree with LouS that his items look too perfect. And the hammer prices are usually quite high.👎

Of course you could always make him an offer he can't refuse 😁
