zero mention of battery life so far... charging they've mentioned 5 times, but no battery life. Either way, Casio's G-Shock line, Citizen's quartz digital lines and Seikos are dead. Mechanicals will never be challenged by it but that low end quartz industry is about to get destroyed.

"You can wear it all day." Whatever that means. I still cannot find what the screen is made of.

    And pricing? Uh... Nothing.

    Ship date? Next year.

These look like Hipster nonsense. I am not at all impressed. Does nothing for me. I'll try and hold off final judgement until i can actually get my hands on one in a store and mess around.

    No mention of water resistance?

Doesn't sound like Al will service these either.

I expected more from the design. It looks boring.

If you mean "smash with a hammer" then yes I'm your man! ;)

Seriously, I doubt these will be replacing all the low level quartz watches out there. For a LOT of people around the world, $349 is a fortune.

I dunno, I'm not wearing anything but a G Shock type watch to the gym, sauna, etc.

One needs to have an iPhone to use it. Just saying.

Seiko/Citizen won't be losing any sleep. As has been said before, the international market for cheap quartz watches is huge. This is simply an accessory for iPhones.

As for myself, I'd like to see real world battery life numbers. Despite that niggling doubt, I can't imagine myself not buying it.

Are they going to be that popular? I get that some folk need every Apple thing as soon as it comes out, but surely on the whole, most people are content to simply take their phone out of their pocket when they need it?

Rest assured that Apple junkies will line up on release day to throw money at the clerks.

Well, they likely won't be free with your phone package.

A nice addition to my MacBook and iPhone collection.

And it will improve 10 fold by the next iteration.

    Well done Apple.
