My new Kyle watch finally arrived! Here is the obligatory pic even though Kyle did a much did a much better job taking pics of it.

I absolutely love it! The dial is in the best condition that I have seen on a waffle. The 353 movement is super clean and the case is sharp and has basically no noticeable wear. Thanks Kyle!

You've now got the 2627 to use as the baseline for all eBay comparisons when you're in need of showing what the lugs should look like.

Thanks! The lugs really are crisp, and I've never seen so much bevel on lugs on any vintage omega I've had before.

That's a REAL beauty... Well done Justin. I think we've both had a good week! :p

    Any strap options yet?

Nope, a hostage situation implies that I would give them up for something in exchange... And I won't :D

    Very, very nice and congrats!
Not exactly my area of expertise but this strikes me as a very interesting dial because it is without "Seamaster" and "Calendar" and with the retailer's name.
Leaving aside the double name, can anyone clarify how common it is to see a Calendar model without the standard nomenclature printed?
    Best,
    T.

Not very common. The original Seamaster products didn't have the name on the dial. There are US market ads that show this:

    Hope this helps,

And apparently Wright-Kay was a high end jeweler in Detroit, ca. 1920-late 70s. The landmark building is still named after the company:

Gotta love the paths these old watches lead you down.

I've seen a couple of other Pre-Seamaster date at 6s and have also owned this one, but the Wright Kay&Co. was the nicest one I have seen so far.
