Why does the dial say 'JLC' but the movt say 'leCoultre'? Does this mean it's a frankenwatch?

The case and dial seem quite nice though, and it's 37mm...

Actually common see a JLC dial and LC movement. The memories are also commonly seen in 37mm. This seller is known to sell watches with radials with quite high standards.

Doesn't look like a franken to me. It's the standard E855 with correct everything, except it has a good redial. The case has been refinished very well. These were made from the late 50's up to the late 60's (maybe even to 1970). This one's serial number dates it to late 1962.
